The Creature is an innocent being who has lived his life questioning why all of these horrible things have happened to him. Why was he created? Why was he shunned? Why did his creator shun him?

Victor Frankenstein spent his life craving knowledge, power, and the ability to become a god. He succeeded, rejected his work, and used those around him in the process. The one chance he has to show his creation kindness, he instead shows him pain and destruction. He has a chance to redeem himself, and he chooses damnation.
And in the end, Frankenstein creates the Creature in his own image: He creates a monster.
