Religious institutions are entitled to claim religious reasons for failing to comply with public laws. This is understood to be a legitimate form of discrimination protected by their First Amendment rights to freely practice their religion.
That’s why the Catholic Church doesn’t have to provide insurance to its employees that covers contraception.
Businesses that provide goods and services to the public are not allowed to discriminate in a like manner. Such discrimination is not a legitimate function of their core mission, which is to make a profit for their owners and investors.
That’s why court after court after court has ruled you do have to provide insurance to your employees that covers things you may object to personally. You are running a business, not a religion.
Please note this for future reference, and stop being assholes to your employees.
