I’m so sick of people thinking because they pay taxes that they own the government. When I used to work for the road department I used to be out on easements trimming trees and stuff and people would get mad. They’d say, “Well I pay my taxes so you work for me.”

I used to tell them, “That’s funny, because I pay my taxes too so I guess that makes me self-employed.
