I’m not sure where I fall here. 1980 seems to be one of those transitional years where it never fails that they are put in multiple categories.

Then again, most can’t even agree on a name for some of these later generations nonetheless a coherent range of dates to go with those names.

maybe we should stop trying to categorize everyone.
