#OBAMA #2012 #President!!!

cognitivedissonance:

Mitt Romney, Oct. 22nd, 2012: “In the 2000 debates there was no mention of terrorism, for instance. And a year later, 9/11 happened. So we have to make decisions based upon uncertainty.”

Survey says…

Sen. Joe Lieberman, Oct. 5th, 2000: “In fact, this administration has begun to transform the American military to take it away from being a Cold War force to prepare it to meet the threats of the new generation of tomorrow, of weapons of mass destruction, of ballistic missiles, terrorism, cyber warfare.”

Vice President Al Gore, Oct. 17th, 2000: “In the Congress, in the House of Representatives, I served on the House Intelligence Committee and I worked hard to learn the subject of nuclear arms control and how we can diffuse these tensions and deal with non-proliferation and deal with the problems of terrorism and these new weapons of mass destruction. Look, we’re gonna face some serious new challenges in the next four years.”

Now, if Romney had said that terrorism hadn’t been mentioned in the 2000 debates by George W. Bush or Dick Cheney, he’d be right.

Sorry, Mitt. Your point about terrorism is more like errorism.

I AGREE!  It’s all about the SCOTUS.

The irony is that it is not Colbert that is the joker here, but the whole political process - which has become an auction more than an election - with TV pundits admitting it is a laughing stock, even as they legitimise it, while the TV ads bring revenues into the stations.

Mitt Romney Is Presidential, Electable, HuffPost-Patch GOP Power Outsiders Say: I love this feature we do with primary/caucus state influentials. Our influentials like Romney’s chances against Obama and they think he’d make a good president. But you can see that big RINO accusation hovering at the middle everything.

If you look at what they said about Perry, the choice looks like what you thought it was: Too much TEXAN or too much RINO.

What do you guys think of when you think of Mitt?

(via shortformblog)

There should be nothing controversial about this piece of legislation.

fyeahdemocrats:

wow guys after following that debate, thats it, I am now a republican. something about the ability to say anything I want without any consequence of science, truth, reason, logic, or research is really starting to appeal to me.

(highlights were all to rick perry, a man who aside from not believing in science somehow mustered the mental power to nearly mindfuck ron paul into having a heart attack on stage)

If Perry were elected president, perhaps he would do for the entire United States what he’s done for Texas, which ranks first in the nation in the percentage of the population without health insurance, and 45th in high school completion. We could return to grass-roots, state-driven environmental regulations, the kind that have made Texas the nation’s leader in clean-water permit violations, hazardous waste spills and toxic emissions from manufacturing facilities.

Effectively, that would be Dubya Redux - but Perry is only playing dumb
